چکیده

Previous studies have shown the effects of vitamins on development mammary gland. However, role niacin in this process has not been reported. Therefore, aim study is to investigate gland pubertal mice and use a mouse epithelial cell line underlying mechanism. The results showed that could activate AKT/mTOR ERK signaling pathways increase phosphorylation 4EBP1 promote synthesis proliferation markers, leading dissociation Rb-E2F1 complex mMECs. In addition, 0.5% promoted duct development, increased expression cyclin D1/D3 PCNA activated Akt/mTOR ERK1/2 glands mice. These strongly suggest stimulates through pathways.

Oleic acid stimulates HC11 mammary epithelial cells proliferation and mammary gland development in peripubertal mice through activation of CD36-Ca2+ and PI3K/Akt signaling pathway

This study aimed to investigate the effects of oleic acid (OA), a monounsaturated fatty acid, on HC11 mammary epithelial cells proliferation and peripubertal mammary gland development and explore the underlying mechanisms. HC11 cells and C57BL/6J mice were treated with OA. HC11 proliferation, peripubertal mammary gland development, and the involvement of CD36 and PI3K/Akt were assessed. In vitr...

Effects of serum on mammary epithelial proliferation in vitro during mammary gland development

The proliferative response of mammary gland epithelium from nonpregnant, pregnant, and lactating mice to mammary serum factor and insulin was studied in vitro. Mammary gland epiithelium from nonpregnant and lactating animals has a delayed proliferative response to mammary serum factor and insulin when compared to the response of epithelium from pregnant animals. The results show that as the ani...

Canine Mammary Gland Cancer Stem Cell and its Potential Role in Malignant Biologic Behavior

BACKGROUND:Canine mammary gland cancers are the most prevalent malignancies in dogs. There are different challenges regarding management of these cancers in dogs and human, one hypothesis is related to small cellular subset of tumor mass called cancer stem cell. These cells are therapy resistant and cause metastasis and relapse even after primary successful treatment. The well-identified phenot...

Mammary Gland in Mice

Microvascular changes in the mammary gland in mice during pregnancy and lactation were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with a corrosion cast method, tvansmission e]eetron microscopy (TEM) and morphometry. By SEM, duct-associated capillary plexuses were sparsety distributed to branch into adipocytes during virgin period. With advance in pregnancy, both branches from the capMar...

PPAR signaling exacerbates mammary gland tumor development

Breast cancer cell lines that express the nuclear peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR ) can be prompted to undergo growth arrest and differentiation when treated with synthetic PPAR ligands. To evaluate the therapeutic potential of increased PPAR signaling in vivo, we generated transgenic mice that express a constitutively active form of PPAR in mammary gland. These mice are indist...
